Royal Aztec Lace Agate, also called Royal Purple Lace Agate, is a rare purple seam agate from Durango, Mexico. There was never an abundance of material and what was available was mined out in the 60’s.  The agate is considered to be one of the very best seam agates ever found and is prized for the deep rich purple color. The intensity of color, from vibrant purple to lighter shades of lavender, and the amount of banding and lacy scallops can vary in each slab, effectively determining the value of the piece.

Dimensions:  4.5" x 2" and is approximately 6.7 mm thick.  Weight = 78 grams.
