Willow Creek Jasper Rock Slab 881

Willow Creek Jasper is a world famous jasper which comes in a multitude of colors and a wide variety of patterns. Known for its extremely fine grain and porcelain qualities, it may very well be the finest jasper in the world that is still in production.   It is a very hard jasper that takes a fabulous polish and is in very high demand by the lapidary community, as it makes fantastic finished pieces. This material should definitely be a part of any serious collection.

Origin:  Idaho

Dimensions: 2.5" x 1.5" and approximately 6.2 mm thick.  Weight = 33 grams. 

Shown wet.  Not polished. Known flaws are shown as white lines in the final picture frame.
