Bloodstone Rock Slab 80
Bloodstone, also known as heliotrope, is a variety of jasper containing a dark-green opaque form of chalcedony quartz with distinctive red spots. The green color is due to the presence of particles of chlorite while the red spots are caused by iron oxide. This distinctive patterned material is from India and the contrasting bands of color make interesting and fun cabochons.
