Brazilian Agate Rock Slab 189

Brazilian agate has been a staple of the lapidary community for many decades.  It comes in a variety of forms, the most common  being a banded fortification, as well as a wide variety of colors, which adds to its universal appeal to the collector.

Origin:  Brazil

Dimensions: 6.5" x 5.5" and is approximately 6.5 mm thick.  Weight = 273 grams. 

Shown wet.  Not polished.   Flaws are shown as white lines in the final picture frame.
