Crayola Jasper was actively mined around 2010 in northern Nevada.  It was immensely popular when it came on the market because of the wide variety of colors and patterns displayed.  The random scenes appear as if someone was doodling with a box of crayons, hence the name Crayola.  It is well known for its mix of pastel colors, the rarest being blue. It's a porcelain-type jasper that is hard and takes a nice polish, however it is also prone to fractures. There is very little original stock left and the claim has been inactive for years.

Dimensions: 2.5" x 1.5" and is approximately 7.2 mm thick. Weight = 48 grams.
