Dead Camel Jasper Rock Slab 39
Dead Camel jasper from Nevada is a relative newcomer to the lapidary scene, but it has rapidly grown to be one of the current favorites. It's a very hard jasper, with busy, brecciated patterns in a mix of pink, yellow and blue. The newest material contains green and maroon. It is excellent material to work with, it takes a very glossy polish and makes one of a kind cabs.
Origin: Nevada
Dimensions: 3" x 2.75" and approximately 6.1 mm thick. Weight = 72 grams.
Shown wet. Not polished. Flaws are indicated as white lines in the final picture frame.
