Deschutes Jasper is famous for its “dark”, earthy tones of overlapping orb-like patterns that often resemble stark panoramic landscapes.  It is a very hard, fine-grained jasper that takes a superior polish and has long been a favorite of the lapidary community.  Taken from deposits in Oregon, this material is getting increasingly difficult to obtain.  Every collection should have a least one piece of this fantastic jasper.

Dimensions: 4.5" x 2.5" and approximately 9.4 mm thick bottom left tapering to 3.6 mm on the top right..  Weight = 96 grams.
