Fireworks Obsidian Slab 53
Fireworks Obsidian from Mexico (also known as Flower Obsidian) is a relatively rare form of volcanic glass that displays a multitude of small, chrysanthemum type bursts of red, pink and white on a black field. Relatively soft but it still takes a great glassy polish to produce very lively finished cabs.
Origin: Mexico
Dimensions: 4.5" x 4" and is approximately 9 mm thick on the left tapering to 5.5 mm on the right. Weight = 167 grams.
Not polished. Shown wet. Known flaws are shown as white lines in the final picture frame.
