Mookaite is a stunning multi-colored jasper found in Western Australia. It was formed from the fossilization of microscopic sea creatures called radiolaria. The earthy colors including reds, purple, ochre and yellows are swirled together to form interesting patterns and designs. Mookaite takes a high polish and is very desirable for jewelry.
