Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper Rock Slab 17
Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper, found in Santa Clara County, California, is a famous, but increasingly rare orbicular jasper with red and yellow orbs. It is a brecciated japer, oxidized iron-rich whose cracks were filled in by other substances. This material is no longer being mined, but occasionally pieces surface from long held collections.

Dimensions: 6.5" x 2" and approximately 7 mm thick . Weight = 144 grams.
