Sonora Sunrise Rock Slab 0208
Sonora Sunrise is a highly desirable tri-color jasper out of Mexico. It is made up of Chrysocolla, which is a beautiful blue/green, and Cuprite, which is the red/orange interspersed with black iron banding. The contrast of these bold colors produces striking cabochons and is a mainstay for southwestern themed jewelry. Once plentiful, this material is increasingly difficult to obtain, especially slabs that display all three colors.
Origin: Mexico
Dimensions: 33" x 2 and approximately 7.2 mm thick. Weight = 88 grams.
