Amazon Basin Valley Jasper from Brazil is like a fun mystery rock; a plain exterior that disguises what can be amazing patterns and colors inside, yet remain indiscernible until cut. The interior can be relatively blah or revel intense ochres, black and red patterns that look as they have been painted with broad brushstrokes. You won’t be disappointed with the bold colors and patterns in this jasper.  If cabbing, there are fractures in this material, however, they can be worked around to make outstanding pieces.
