Berber agate is a unique material from Morocco. Known for its bright salmon orange/red color, it is usually accompanied with a white/gray background that many times displays a tight fortification pattern. It produces many unusual patterns and unique “needle” inclusions that makes for a great variety of finished pieces. Berber agate makes great cabbing stock….easy to polish with a wide variety of color and pattern.
