Blue Tide
Blue Tide seam agate from West Java, Indonesia is one of the newest rocks on the market. The white portion is thought to be calcite while the blue/green plumes are thought to be agate. These gorgeous plumes are well defined and against the white background are spectacular.
Finishing this material may require extra care and a gentle touch as the white calcite is softer than the blue/green plumes and can be prone to breaking. The finished cabochons, however, will be exquisite and well worth the effort
