Brazilian agate has been a staple of the lapidary community for many decades.  It comes in a variety of forms, the most common  being a banded fortification, as well as a wide variety of colors, which adds to its universal appeal to the collector.

Dimensions: 6" x 2.5" and is approximately 6.7 mm thick.  Weight = 132 grams. 

Shown wet.  Not polished.  This slab is pictured with both front lighting and back lighting.  No significant flaws.
