Brenda Jasper Slab 54

  • 1895

Brenda agate/jasper from Arizona has been a favorite of the lapidary artist for many years. Noted for its intense red jasper, often paired with a milky white accent agate, it cuts some very remarkable cabs.  The last collection we acquired had great diversity and unusual patterns for Brenda area jaspers.  Many times the material is filled with druzy pockets that make excellent open cabs or free forms. It takes an excellent polish and makes a wonderful addition to any collection.

Origin:  Arizona, US

Dimensions:  5.75" x 1" and approximately 5.6 mm thick.  Weight = 59 grams.

Shown wet.  Not polished. Flaws are shown as white lines in the final picture frame.
