Bridewell Stone Rock Slab 13

  • 4995

Bridewell stones are manmade by Ray and Amy Bridewell, and are created by fostering mineral crystallization in gem quality quartz utilizing extreme temperatures. At over 2450 degrees these minerals liquify and cause crystalline formations to bloom. Each stone has beautiful color and unique patterns as the light plays along each crystalline structure, flashing color and life throughout. Some are beautiful blooms in translucent colored quartz while others are more chatoyant in an opaque base.  When cabbing, pieces should be worked from the back of the bloom to avoid grinding through the crystalline structure.
