Burro Creek Agate Rock Slab 79

Noted for its lavender and violet hues displayed in a wide variety of patterns, Arizona Burro Creek agate is a versatile lapidary material.  It is found in the desert of northwestern Arizona near the Bagdad Mine. It takes a good polish leaving a warm luster that makes beautiful cabochons. 

 Origin:  Arizona

Dimensions: 3.5" x 2.5" and approximately 7.7 mm thick.  Weight = 96 grams. 

Shown wet.  Not polished. Known flaws are shown as white lines in the final picture frame.
