Cady Mountain Rock Slab 0011

The Cady Mountains are one of the most prolific rock collecting areas in Southern California.  Known for its wide variety of lapidary material, this locale produces some of the best agate/jaspers in the world including tube agate, moss agate, plume agate, sagenite and fortification agates.  The most sought after is the Cady Feather and it is found in the Hill Zero area.

Origin:  California

Dimensions:  3" x 2" and approximately 8.5 mm thick.  Weight = 70 grams. 

Shown wet.  Not polished.  Known flaws are shown as white lines in the final picture frame.
