Horn Coral Slab 29

A beautiful slab of Horn Coral from Utah.  Noted for its gorgeous, symmetrical "bursts" of red/pink and gray, the intricate pattern is formed from the remains of ancient coral skeletons that have been agatized.  Although the cross-sections are usually very small, the material makes outstanding finished pieces.

Origin:  Utah

Dimensions:  1.25" x 1" and approximately 8.1 mm thick.  Weight = 16 grams. 

Shown wet.  Not polished. No significant flaws
