A new premium agate from Idaho surfaced at the Winter 2026 Tucson Gem Show Winter 2026. Simply called Idaho Dendritic, only two small boulders were found among tailings in an old mining area.  The agate exhibits a variety of colors arranged in sprays of dendrites that rival some of the world’s finest colorful dendritic material.  Finely detailed dendrites, primarily black, red and gold are nestled in a scenic background matrix of cream, pink, white and gold. This is sure to be a desirable collector’s piece due to the high quality, uniqueness, and limited availability.

Dimensions:  4.5" x 2.25" and approximately 6.8 mm thick.  Weight = 74 grams.
