Indonesian Feather Agate Rock Slab 5
Indonesian Feather Agate is an impressive example of an ancient fossil material containing the Fusulinids, an extinct, single-cell marine organisms related to modern day amoebas, which lived until the end of the Permian period, and are therefore at least 250 million years old. It is their exquisite feather-like structure that is responsible for this rare materials alternate name, 'feather agate'. This slab is solid, relatively fracture free and will take an outstanding polish for distinguished cabochons.
