King Cobra

King Cobra was discovered in India in the early 2010’s in the Uttar Pradesh region of northern India.  It is known for its vivid patterns and mesmerizing colors that resemble the scales and markings of a cobra.  This stone typically features a mix of rich earthy tones, including shades of brown, cream, olive green, and mustard yellow, creating a blend that can range from soft to intense. Its most distinctive feature is the presence of circular, orb-like patterns—often referred to as “orbs” or “eyes”.

There are three notable features in this selection of King Cobra. A few of the slabs are pink, a very rare color for King Cobra. The small red/orange eyes in the green agatized materials are slightly chatoyant. Other slabs have very detailed “garden like” patterns in intense red, orange and green with metallic splashes.   Fantastic Material!!
