Rodeo Flats Agate rock Slab 1

Rodeo Flats is an unusual agate, found at Camp Verde, Arizona, that is noted for its’ intricate white plumes embedded in agate and sagenite needles.  This material has never been found in abundance but now it is very difficult to find, however, it is an important addition to any complete plume collection.  Often this agate is spattered with small pits and may need to be treated if using for jewelry purposes. 

Origin:  Arizona

Dimensions: 4.5" x 2" and approximately 6.9 mm thick.  Weight = 89 grams. 

Shown wet.  Not polished.  Flaws are shown as white lines in the final picture frame.
