Owyhee Jasper from Oregon is a longtime favorite of the lapidary community, having been around for many decades. It is still in high demand for its simple buckskin brown and tan pattern and often times with very distinctive red highlights. It is a very hard, fine-grained jasper which takes a superior polish and makes spectacular cabs.
