Sheep Bridge Agate Rock Slab 6

  • 1495

Sheep Bridge Agate is found in Yavapai County, Arizona. It is so named for the bridge that was built in the 1920’s to move sheep herds over the Verde/Horseshoe River. This sagenitic agate displays dense purple/lavender rutile stands in a showy white acicular agate.  The color saturation in this slab is great and will make wonderful finished pieces.

Origin:  Arizona

Dimensions:  2" x 1.5" and approximately 5.6 mm thick.  Weight = 23 grams.

Shown wet.  Not polished. Known flaws are shown as white lines in the last picture frame.
