Stony Creek Rock Slab 10

Stony Creek Jasper from the Stone Canyon area in California, is very similar to and often confused with Stone Canyon, the highly brecciated jasper.  It was found in 2016 in California's North Fork Stony Creek where the creek flows into Black Butte Lake.   This particular variety has an outstanding display of contrasting yellow and orange orbs dispersed throughout the olive-green jasper. 

Origin:  California

Dimensions:  3.75" x 3" and approximately 6.7 mm thick.  Weight = 121 grams. 

Shown wet.  Not polished. Flaws are shown as white lines in the final picture frame.
