Tiger Tail
Tiger Tail is mined in Chihuahua, Mexico and is appropriately named for its striking patterns and colors, which resemble a tiger’s appearance. Amidst the bold burnt orange and yellow pattern there are pockets of hematite which when polished emit metallic flashes. Veining and small yellow poppy-like orbs add another level of interest to this jasper. This material rates 7 on the Moh’s scale and takes a nice polish.
