White Buffalo

White Buffalo, discovered in 1993 at the Dry Creek Mine in Tonopah, is technically not turquoise as it is composed of magnesite and aluminte and contains no copper or the traditional blue color . White buffalo is however, a unique stone very desirable because of its unique color variations, which generally range from white to cream with grey and, in some cases, brown highlights.  The beautiful black matrix veining makes each piece distinct and gives it additional complexity. It has a wide draw for mineral enthusiasts, highly coveted by Native Americans, as well as jewelry makers who value its beauty.
