Zebra Onyx Slab 373
Zebra Onyx, the common name given to this calcite mineral, is primarily sourced from Mexico. The stone is known for its black and white color and unique banded patterns. The banding is a result of alternating layers of black and white calcite on top of each other. The starkly contrasting, swirling patterns and intricate dendrites will make attention grabbing cabs.
Contrary to its name there actually isn't any onyx in this stone. Onyx is a type of chalcedony while zebra onyx is a calcite mineral making it much softer and easier to work with than traditional Onyx.
