Bird of Paradise Agate Rock Slab 5
Bird of Paradise Agate was found and mined from near Naica, Chihuahua, Mexico years ago. The lovely plumes in shades of yellow, pink, red and orange formed from manganese or iron dissolved in the mineral solution as the rock developed. Small cracks allowed the solution to penetrate creating the beautiful plume structures. This fantastic is not only highly collectible but also creates gorgeous jewelry pieces.
Origin: Mexico
Dimensions: 2" x 2" and approximately 5.2 mm thick. Weight = 33 grams.
