Blue Mountain Jasper is considered to be one of the premium jaspers that has been a long time favorite with the lapidary community.  Known for its blue-green/gray orbs, it is a very hard material that takes a superior polish.  It also comes in other shades, mainly brown, purple and olive, and makes exquisite show pieces and finished cabs.
