Broken Arrow Variscite Slab 40
Variscite is a relatively rare aluminum phosphate mineral closely related to turquoise in its chemical composition. Broken Arrow Variscite is one of many types located throughout Nevada. It is known for its glassy emerald to light green color and often translucent appearance with a wide variety of pattern. Although softer than agate or jasper (somewhere around 5 on the Moh's scale) it takes a great polish and makes stunning finished pieces.
