Bruneau Jasper Rock Specimen slab 11
Bruneau jasper has been a favorite of the rock collector for many years owing to its hardness, pattern and fine grain. The buckskin/red-brown orbs make spectacular display pieces and exceptional cabs. Once a plentiful material, it has recently become another casualty in the ongoing process of limiting access to public land and is no longer accessible to the rockhound. It takes a mirror-like polish and is considered to one of the “kings” of the jasper world. Definitely a must have for any serious collection.
