Cathedral Agate Rock Slab 20

Cathedral agate from Mexico has been a long time favorite with rockhounds everywhere. Named for its “spires” of fingerlike agate stalactites, it contains awesome plumy moss patterns with amazing detail. Normally predominantly browns and yellows, it occasionally has bright red/pink or purple accents. It makes spectacular cabs or magnificent display pieces. It has proven to be one of the keystone items in any agate collection.

Origin:  Mexico

Dimensions:  4" x 2" and approximately 5.3 mm thick.   Weight = 64 grams. 

Shown wet.  Not polished.  Flaws are shown as white lines in the final picture frame.
