Cave Onyx Rock Slab 63
Cave onyx comes from Kokoweef Peak in California. This material was collected in the late ‘40’s and is famous for its delicate, light brown/cream colored orbs and fans which appear in cross section when the stalactites/stalagmites are cut. It is relatively soft compared to most other lapidary materials, but it does take a good polish to produce spectacular, unique finished cabs or display pieces.
Origin: California
Dimensions: 3" x 2.75" and approximately 6.7 mm thick. Weight = 77 grams.
