Fantasy jasper from Aguas Callientes, Mexico has the characteristic hardness and finish of a porcelain jasper.  The varied patterns in shades of red/maroon/gold swirled in a gray background  make interesting cabochons that will take a high polish. 

Origin:  Mexico

Dimensions:  4" x 2" and approximately 6.5 mm thick.  Weight = 50 grams.
