Lavender Orbicular Mystery Rock Slab 01
Lavender orbicular mystery rock was an impulse purchase that we made this winter in Arizona. The orbs are very well defined and the soft pastel colors embedded in the gray matrix is unusual and intriguing. The origin is unknown as is the chemical composition, however, it seems to be harder than rhyolite but not as hard as an agate so it should polish well. If you are looking for a unique one-of-a-kind material you have found here.
Dimensions: 5.5" x 4.25" and approximately 5.3 mm thick. Weight = 168 grams.
Shown wet. Not polished. Flaws are shown as white lines in the final picture frame.
