Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper Rock Slab 12
Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper, found in Santa Clara County, California, is a famous, but increasingly rare orbicular jasper with red and yellow orbs. It is a brecciated japer, oxidized iron-rich whose cracks were filled in by other substances. This material is no longer being mined, but occasionally pieces surface from long held collections.

Dimensions: 4" x 1.5" and approximately 7.5 mm thick . Weight = 76 grams.
