Agates from the Santa Maria River in Arizona contain spectacular plumes in a variety of colors and patterns, all within a clear agate background.  This material is very rare as only small amounts were collected and are no longer available. Although the slabs are small, they are certain to produce special pieces to fill out a collection or to make splendid finished cabochons.

Origin:  Arizona

Dimensions: 1.5" x 1.5" and approximately 8.6 mm thick on the right tapering to 6.1 mm on the left.  Weight = 29 grams.
