Sheep Creek Plume Agate is a classic and highly sought-after material, originating from Oregon. The collecting site is now closed, so this material is rare and difficult to come by. The cream-colored or clear agate serve as a beautiful backdrop to the dark brown, black and white wispy plumes, making beautiful pieces.  Sheep Creek plume agate is very hard and yields a mirror polish with very little undercutting.
