Maw Sit Sit
The saturation of the chromium green in combination with interesting markings is what determines the value of Maw Sit Sit. This lapidary material is very rare and extremely difficult to find, particularly high-quality material.
Some of Whiskey Creek Jasper, from Idaho, has characteristics very much like orbed Black Bruneau while other has a wildly brecciated pattern; both of which display rich earth tones in oranges, yellow, reds, greens, and browns.
Imperial Jasper from Mexico, distinguished as one of the “five fine” jaspers has been a long time favorite because of its' hardness and wide variety of colors. Each piece has it’s own distinct colors and patterns including pink, brown, green and blue.
Windy Mountain from Empire, Nevada came to market in 2023 and was immediately a hit with the lapidary community.Beautiful pink, red, salmon, and white, along with gray and black detailing are displayed in wavy bands.
